Slovenia Day 4

THURSDAY, 30/03/2023: Was dedicated to the importance of recycling for sustainable development in the future. The participants were divided into two groups, namely in the 1st group they made the scene and costumes for Friday’s show (Cottage, bridge, sub-columns, fish, crabs, regulated riverbed…). In the second group, they learned the choreography for a joint song, and then produced awareness leaflets on the topic of saving water and energy in institutions (students and employees) and at home. These are the only components of the joint declaration, which will be publicly presented at Friday’s event. Then the group switched. After lunch, we got acquainted with the use of the CŠOD Mission application, and went on field work from Cankova to Lake Ledava. At the same time, the students learned about the water sources in their home region (source of Dobel, Ledava and Lake Ledava) and the facts about water and its sustainable use. The route was about 7.5 km long. After the activity, there was a meeting with representatives of the Cankova municipality in the historical building Vogler in Cankova. After the pleasant gathering, the journey home followed.
